Many of our clients buy an apartment on the coast but live in Ukraine, Germany, Poland or Israel. They cannot come over for every stage of the renovation, and they should not have to. Here is how we organise the work remotely.
Getting started: consultation and measurements
Our first meeting takes place by video call. We discuss how you will use the apartment, whether you will live there yourself or let it out, as well as your budget and timescale. We then visit the property, take precise measurements and photographs, and check the walls, windows and building services.
Design and estimate, online
We present the layout, 3D visualisations and estimate on a call and send them to you in a convenient format. All decisions are agreed in writing to avoid any misunderstandings. The cost and schedule are fixed in the contract.
Progress: regular reports
Throughout the renovation you receive photo and video reports from the site. It is especially important to show the hidden work, such as electrics, plumbing and waterproofing, before it is covered by finishes. That way you see the quality not only of the final result but also of what is inside the walls.
Furniture and furnishing
We select furniture, lighting and sanitaryware according to the design and agree them with you using catalogues and samples. Orders are placed in advance so that everything arrives by the end of the renovation, and we take delivery on site ourselves.
Handover and keys
The handover can be done online using a checklist: we walk through every room on video. You arrive at a finished, clean apartment, with the furniture assembled and the beds made.
